Who doesn't like a delicious corn dog. A hot dog on a stick, battered and deep fried. This recipe is simple and the results are a corn dog that is reminiscent the kind of corn dog you would get at carnival or fair at a fraction of the price and without having to deal with the fair crowds, and way better than the frozen, store bought corn dogs.
A note. It is best to use skinless dogs, as those with casings can split while being fried and tend to not handle the coating well.

Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 15 minutes
Yield: 12 corn dogs
There will likely be leftover batter. Either make up more corn dogs, fry by tablespoon full or thin out the batter with a little water or milk and fry like a funnel cake by running the batter into the hot oil through a funnel. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
